‘We are thrilled!’: Reese Witherspoon and husband Jim Toth welcome a baby boy called Tennessee James

HOLLYWOOD star Reese Witherspoon has become a mum for the third time after giving birth to a son.

The Water For Elephants star and talent agent husband Jim Toth, 42, have named the baby boy – their first child together – Tennessee James.

Reese, 36, already has two children with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe – Ava, 13, and eight-year-old Deacon.

A spokesperson for the couple – who married in March last year after one year together – said: “Reese and Jim welcomed Tennessee James into their family today. Both mom and baby are healthy and the entire family is thrilled.”

The news comes after Reese suffered a health scare last month after she was admitted to hospital in Los Angeles when it was feared she was in labour early.

The actress is now planning to take some time off to concentrate on raising her children.

Earlier this year she said: “I’m feeling very round tonight. After I finish filming The Devil’s Knot I’m going to take a little time off and go have a baby!”
