Michael Attenborough, the artistic chief of the play was delighted to rewrite to keep her in the play. Billie’s character Carly is actually pregnant in the play. It only becomes apparent later in the show but now it will become clear that the actress is expecting. Billie and husband Laurence already have a son, Winston, who is three years old.
