Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty gave birth to a baby boy at Hinduja Healthcare Surgical Hospital in suburban Khar this morning. Husband Raj Kundra said on Twitter: “God has blessed us with a beautiful baby boy. Both mother and baby are fine. I am thrilled to bits.”

Shilpa and Raj have been married for three years, and this is the couple’s first baby.

Earlier, Shilpa Shetty had said that she will store her child’s stem cells. “Stem cell banking gives me the peace of mind for my baby’s health. By banking stem cells, my child will have more medical options in the future,” Shetty had said in a statement.

The 36-year-old actress confirmed the news of her pregnancy in December 2011.

Sharon Osbourne says that the birth of her first grandchild has been “life changing”.

Jack Osbourne and his fiancée Lisa Stelly welcomed baby daughter Pearl into the world on Tuesday. Sharon took to her Twitter page to gush about the family’s new arrival.

“Today I witnessed my first grandchild being born, life changing experience. She is an angel (sic),” she wrote on her personal page.

Jack and Lisa’s baby girl weighed in at 8lbs. 6oz.

Jack’s sister Kelly also tweeted her delight at the Osbournes’ new addition.

Sharon has previously revealed she can’t wait to shower her grandchild with gifts.

“I’m going to be the absolute nightmare grandmother that is going to do everything wrong. I’m just going to spoil, spoil, and that’s the job of a grandparent,” she said.

Sharon – who wants Pearl to call her “Shazza” – joked it was an Osbourne family trait to be late, when the baby’s due date was pushed back.

The whole family are over the moon about the recent Osbourne addition.

A woman who insisted on seeing the presumably lifeless body of her premature baby found the infant alive in the drawer of a hospital mortuary.

Authorities say the girl had spent 12 hours in the refrigerated room at the Perrando de Resistencia hospital in northern Argentina.

Analia Bouter told Todo Noticias television that she thought she was hallucinating when she looked at her baby in the mortuary drawer, then heard a whimper and saw signs of life.

Doctors say the girl is now in good condition.

The baby was three months premature and was born on the 3rd April, the hospital issued a death certificate, saying she died of unknown causes.
She said doctors told her that “nobody knows how she could have survived 12 hours in a refrigerated room”.

Rafael Sabatinelli, deputy health secretary of Chaco province where the hospital is located, said authorities were investigating those involved in the incident.
