Abbey Clancy and partner Peter Crouch announced the arrival of 7lb 9oz daughter Sophia Ruby last week. The couple revealed the name when they returned to their Surrey home after leaving the Portland in London. The couple are thrilled with their new arrival and can’t stop staring at the beautiful new baby. Peter was at his fiancée’s side for the birth and both mother and daughter are doing great. Abbey and Peter are reportedly planning to marry this June and are said to have booked a ceremony on Italy’s Lake Garda for their nuptials.

Footballer Peter Crouch is getting excited about the imminent birth of his first born with Abbey Clancy who is due any day. Peter organised a surprise baby shower for his model partner after secretly collaborating with Abbey’s mum to make sure that she had the baby shower she had always dreamt of. Whilst Abbey was out of the house for a couple of hours Peter organised fro all of her friends and family to arrive at their home. Abbey had no idea and thought Peter was spending the day relaxing and was amazed when she got back and everyone was there.

A stylish baby shower was thrown in Los Angeles in honour of the Bravo star Rachel Zoe. Her friends threw the bash for Rachel who is due to give birth to her first child in March. The star celebrated her impending arrival of her baby boy with guests including Nicole Richie, Joel Madden, Demi Moore and Kate Hudson.

Sophie Dahl and her husband singer Jamie Cullum announced the safe arrival of their daughter Lyra. The name comes from the Greek name for a constellation of stars. Supermodel Sophie is the granddaughter of the author Roald Dahl. She gave birth at the Portland Street Hospital in London where other celebrities ­including Victoria Beckham have had their children. Sophie and Jamie are said to over the moon after giving birth to a baby girl.

Sex and the City star Cynthia Nixon and her partner Christine Marinoni have announced the safe arrival of their baby boy. Christine gave birth to Max Ellington Nixon-Marinoni on 7th February 2011. This is the couple’s first child together and both Christine and baby are doing well. Cynthia has two older children called Samantha and Charles from her previous relationship with photographer Danny Mozes.
