Mel B has announced that she is pregnant along with her former band mates Victoria Beckham and Emma Bunton. She is expecting her first child with husband Stephen Belafonte this summer. The 35 year old singer said she is very excited about the pregnancy as the couple fell pregnant soon after trying and were surprised it happened so fast. Mel said she was very sick and tired for the first three months and she did not experience that with her first 2 children. She has not yet decided if she wants to know the sex of the baby. Her partner Stephen was ecstatic when Mel told him the happy news.

Michelle Obama attended a baby shower at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina for 40 pregnant Marine wives and their guests. Mrs Obama described her own struggles as a mother for the first time.? Michelle brought gifts and blankets for each expectant mother. The First Lady described how eventually you manage to learn that babies are really hard work but at the beginning there are so many things running through your mind like what will the baby be like and will I ever sleep though the night again? Michelle said that events like this baby shower for all the mums to be who are without their husbands while they are deployed, honour and support the nation’s military families. The First Lady said they hope to help make the whole country gather around these new mums when they are expecting and in the years to come. So that they know they are not alone especially with the stresses that come with pregnancy and being far away from your family members.

Former Doctor Who actor David Tennant has become a father and is celebrating the birth of his first child with fiancée Georgia Moffet. The couple are celebrating the arrival of daughter Olivia and could not be happier. Olivia is beautiful and their families are over the moon. The couple met on the set of Doctor Who in 2008 and Georgia’s father Peter Davison was also a Doctor Who star who played the fifth Doctor between 1981 and 1984. This means the couple’s first child will have both a father and grandfather as an ex-Time Lord!

Star Kym Marsh and partner Jamie Lomas have revealed their delight at the birth of their daughter Polly who was born on 24^th March weighing 4lb 1oz. Polly was born at a Manchester Hospital and the couple are absolutely over the moon. Coronation Street star Kym also has children David age 15 and Emily age 13, from a previous relationship. She is currently taking extended leave from her TV career. Kym and baby are doing really well and are very proud of the new addition to her family.
