David and Victoria Beckham are reportedly trying for their fifth and final baby during this year’s Olympics.

Former Spice Girls performer Victoria and her 37-year-old husband are hoping to conceive while the London 2012 games are on.

A friend of the soccer player told the Daily Star newspaper: “Both Victoria and David are very patriotic and would love it if she got pregnant while they are in London for the Olympics, especially as it is also the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee year.

“Their other children were conceived overseas, so the duo are hoping that their final child will have a Made In Britain tag.

They continued: “Brooklyn was famously named after where he was conceived in New York.

“And Victoria has joked that if she gets pregnant with a boy during the Olympics they are going to call him Stratford.”

Apparently the couple – who already have Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, nine, Cruz, seven, and Harper, one – want five children because of the number’s symbolism.

Insiders revealed: “They have always wanted five children to give them a family of seven – which is their lucky number.

“It’s also the number that David wore on his England and Manchester United football shirts.

The source added: “Victoria is really into symbolism, and she can’t help but notice there are five rings in the Olympic logo and, of course, there were five members of the Spice Girls.”

Take That star Mark Owen has become a dad again after his wife Emma Ferguson gave birth to a baby girl called Fox India Owen.

The couple already have two kids, Elwood, five, and Willow Rose, three.

A spokesman for Mark said: “Mark, Emma, Elwood and Willow are delighted to announce the arrival to the clan of their beautiful new baby girl Fox India Owen.

“They would like to thank all their friends and family for all the wonderful messages.

“She was born yesterday at 7.45am, weighing 7lb 1oz.”

Bandmate Gary Barlow sent his good wishes to Mark today via Twitter, saying: “Massive congratulations to the Owens on the birth of their daughter Fox.”

Mark tied the knot with actress Emma in a fairytale Highland wedding in November 2009 at tiny Cawdor Church, Inverness-shire.

The couple had a rocky patch in 2010 when Owen spiralled out of control on booze and admitted he had bedded ten different women while with Emma.

He checked himself into rehab in a bid to beat his demons and got his relationship back on track with his supportive wife.

He was the second Take That star to tie the knot after songwriter Gary Barlow, 38, took the plunge with his fiancée Dawn in 2000.

Bandmates Robbie Williams, 38, and Gary Barlow, 41, are also expectant dads – with Gary due to become a father for the fourth time in the coming weeks.

Sir Elton John and David Furnish are reportedly expecting a second child.

The couple – whose son Zachary was born via surrogate on December 25, 2010 – are looking forward to welcoming a new addition to their family, after hiring the same woman to carry their second baby.

A source said “He hired the same surrogate to make another baby. She’s now in her first trimester.”Elton recently revealed he is sorry he waited until his sixties to become a dad and spoke out about how much he wants a sibling for Zachary but explained, “at what stage we don’t know, but we definitely will. I don’t want him to be an only child”.

He said: “I think it changes everybody. It’s the most wonderful thing that you could possibly go through.

“I regret a little bit that I didn’t do it sooner, but he has changed our lives. Everything is about him now.

“He’s gorgeous, he travels brilliantly, he loves people, and it makes our lives – he’s the icing on the cake.

“The first thing I do every morning is have breakfast with him. He shares my breakfast. Whatever I have, he wants.

“He has my boiled egg and I have his pineapple or vice versa. I sound like I’m the only person who has ever had a kid – everyone’s been through this.

“But for me, it’s an incredible difference to what life was before.”
