Twins Seth and Preston Campbell were born 2 days apart in 2 different counties. Seth was born in Camberley, Surrey whilst brother Preston arrived 50 hours later in Paddington, London where mum Donna had be taken for treatment. Seth was born weighing 2lb 6oz and Preston 2lb 12oz. The twin boys and Donna developed various infections suffered other serious complications. The specialist doctors were able to save all three and they recovered during a ten week hospital stay. The family are all back at home now and enjoying life as a new family. They think it is very funny that the babies have different birth dates.

Try to be the perfect dad!
Here are some helpful hints to be the perfect dad in the first few days…
Try to stay calm when your baby is crying and remind your partner they she is doing a great job. Keep a list of key phone numbers next to the phone or key them into your mobile. Make sure you have plenty of food in your cupboards and that your freezer is full. Meals may be a bit crazy for the first few days as there is just too much to do in one day which does not allow for cooking. Make sure that you have plenty of baby essentials at hand or make yourself aware where these items are stocked in your local supermarket. You will find that you and your new baby will be very popular in these first few days. Everyone will be very excited to visit the new addition and this can be exhausting. Likewise your phone will being going like crazy as people want to hear all of your baby news. Try to limit your calls and call people back if it becomes too tiring. Remember to look after your partner. This can simply be running a bath or getting her fresh cold drinks and snacks whilst she breastfeeds. Try to be honest about how you feel as this is a life changing experience for you both. Do not bottle your feelings up and listen to each other as there will be both good and bad times for you both. You both need plenty of love and support!
New Baby Boy Celebrates 6 Generations In Family
Baby Harry Law completes 6 generations of a family in Newport, Gwent. Great, great, great, grandmother Gladys is 91, great, great, grandmother Pamela is 74, great, grandmother Wendy is 54, grandmother Lisa is 36 and Harry’s Mum Jessica is 19 years old. The family now has 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 15 great, great grandchildren and Harry makes the first great, great, great grandson.
Great Grandmother Delivers New Baby
Former midwife Margaret Jones from Wiltshire had to deliver her great grandaughter because the duty midwife was not able to arrive in time. Grandaughter Kathy called 90 year old Margaret who lives next door for help. Kathy had returned from a walk with her husband and son Dylan when her labour started. Margaret received a call to help whilst they were waiting for the hospital midwife to arrive. 50 years after leaving the profession the great grandmother delivered baby Carys 20 minutes before the midwife arrived. The new baby weighed a healthy 7lbs and 7ozs.
Baby With Rare Heart Condition Has Life Saving Surgery
A family from Warwickshire are saying thank you to medics after they spotted a life threatening condition in their 8 day old baby. Ellis Hobbs was born with an extremely rare condition called TAPVD or total anomalous pulmonary venous drainage where veins take blood to the wrong side of the heart. Ellis was taken into surgery when he was just 8 days old and had a 4 hour operation. Ellis was able to use one of just 20 beds in the heart unit of Birmingham’s Children’s Hospital. Medics at Birmingham Children’s Hospital managed to ‘rewire’ his heart and Ellis who is now three months old, has made a complete recovery.
