Dad is expecting a baby from sperm frozen 20 years ago

Policeman John Powell had his sperm frozen 20 years ago when he was about to undergo treatment for cancer. John 52 later separated from his wife and thought he would not have any need for it. However, he has now married Chanphen from Bangkok and after undergoing IVF treatment she is 23 weeks pregnant. Pregnancy cravings are urges to eat something that you may not have eaten before. Here is a list of the most common pregnancy cravings: Spicy foods, Sweet things, Dairy foods, Fruits that are sour and Salty snacks. It is possible that the craving is actually a reminder that you should include more of something in your daily diet. You might be craving the saltiness of crisps which may indicate that you are lacking in sodium as your body needs more than usual during the pregnancy. Some mums can develop a craving for non foods products like coal, ice, or mud. This is also known as pica and the reason pregnant mums crave this is unknown. It has been suggested that these cravings are linked to an iron or calcium deficiency or perhaps it is your body trying to find cures for nausea. Usually the food cravings become less as the pregnancy progresses. It is still important throughout the entire pregnancy to eat a balanced diet and good nutritional meals.

Lunges are a fantastic way to tone your legs and bum at the same time being a safe exercise. Here is a is a quick guide to your exercise:

Keep your feet hip distance apart

Step back with your left foot.

Edge your right foot forward.

Slightly bend your knee and tuck in so your squeeze your bottom.

Lower into a lunge keeping your front knee behind your toes and your back knee stays in line with your hips.

Lower as far as you are able to

Lift yourself back up by pushing up through your right heal.

Continue to do this exercise a further 6 times and the change legs and start again.

To try and help calm mums nerves and prepare your little one for starting school with these helpful tips:

Encourage writing from left to right by using your finger to trace words.

Remember nursery rhymes as this is a good skill to your child to learn.

 Try to help your child to form letter correctly when they attempt to write letters.

Encourage counting in fun situations. Count the number of steps to the park or the number of houses on your street or a certain type of colour of car when you are out shopping.

Try to establish a daily routine of reading together with your child. Simply sit together, read and enjoy the time together.
