The superstar singer Beyonce announced her pregnancy at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) in Los Angeles. She revealed that she is expecting her first baby with husband Jay-Z. Beyonce showed the crowd her bump as she ripped open her jacket on stage whilst performing. She had told reporters earlier on the red carpet that she had a surprise in store for them. She had previously hinted when being interviewed by Piers Morgan that she wanted to have a baby by the time she was 30 and is now 29.
