Just wanted to say a quick word of thanks for my pack. My baby shower last night was a success it started at 8pm, and carried on until after 12am- I think everyone enjoyed themselves!!

The extra bits I ordered from you made it all that more special. I did have a slight panic attack yesterday when the items hadn’t arrived and I knew you’d posted them out to me on Monday 1st class recorded delivery so I just wanted to share with you how it got sorted just in case anyone of your customers have the unlikely experience of it too….

I rang you guys yesterday to explain my parcel hadn’t arrived and to request the tracking number to check with Royal Mail as I was hoping they had already tried to deliver and not left me a card or that it would arrive via the post van in the afternoon after the usual post had produced nothing.

I checked the parcel tracking number on line, which confirmed there was no report until the item had been delivered. So I knew the postman had not previously tried to deliver and it was getting too late for the post van to appear….In desperation, I decided to call my local sorting office, explaining the problem of not being able to use my babyshower stuff for the party to see if anyone would help me. I spoke to a really helpful guy who said they were behind with deliveries and took my tracking number, promising to call me back once he had checked if the parcel was there.

He did call me back with 10minutes to confirm they did have the parcel and I could pick it up with required ID. I dashed to the sorting office and my parcel was waiting for me on the side to collect – the nice man saved the day and probably stopped me going into labour on the spot!

I would have never have thought by calling the sorting office direct they could have solved the dilemma I was in – the official Post Office Website isn’t very helpful at all!!

Just thought this info may help someone who finds themselves in my situation!!
