Channing Tatum and wife, Jenna Dewan, are set to become parents for the first time after announcing that they are expecting a baby.

The couple broke the news on Monday just hours after Jenna, 32, told Access Hollywood that they “definitely want a family”.

She said: “We want a family, I mean we definitely want a family. Whenever it’s meant to be, whenever divine intervention comes in and creates that to happen, we’ll be happy.”

Both Channing and Jenna – who met when they co-starred in dance movie Step Up back in 2006 – have previously admitted their desire to raise a family.

Channing, 32, who was recently voted the Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine, told them last month how he would love to have three children.
