Singer Mariah Carey gave birth to twins on 30th April 2011 on the third anniversary of her wedding to actor Nick Cannon. The couple have announced the names of their boy and girl twins as Moroccan and Monroe.
The name Moroccan is from the name of the room of the top floor of the New York apartment Nick proposed Mariah. Their daughter was named after Marilyn Monroe who has been a huge inspiration to Mariah throughout her life.
